When he's not flinging poo about Benghazi Benghazi! BENGHAZI!!, wingnut Congressman Darryl "Grand Theft Auto" Issa is trying to manufacture a political issue over alleged IRS targeting of tea bagger organizations in their applications for tax exempt status. Earlier today, he tried to get former IRS official Lois Lerner to testify before his House "Oversight" Committee, which he's turned into a clumsy Rethuglican opposition research outfit rather than a bi-partisan committee. When Lerner invoked her Fifth Amendment rights, Grand Theft Auto tried to adjourn the hearing, but Ranking Member Elijah Cummings (D-MD) wasn't having it. In a mighty snit, Grand Theft Auto cut Rep. Cummings' microphone and stomped off.
When you've got nothing, you can't have hearing after hearing about it. And you can't shut down the mic for someone calling you out on your witch hunt.
