News Anchor Quits Over Ukrainian Crisis

RT is a cable channel viewed internationally that is funded by the government of the Russian Federation.  RT's mission is to give international audiences a largely glowing picture of Russia, while painting the U.S. in a less flattering way whenever possible.  Obviously, during the crisis in Ukraine and the Russian invasion of Crimea, RT has been trying to spin the news to paint the Ukrainians as the wrongdoers.  Yesterday, however, one RT anchor, Liz Wahl said she'd had enough, and resigned following her broadcast.  Others may be reconsidering their careers at RT, especially if the situation remains the same or worsens.  For now, kudos to Ms. Wahl for her integrity and courage;  we hope she lands on her feet in a better situation.
