Bridgegate Grand Jury Hears Testimony

According to reports, the Federal grand jury that is investigating the Bridgegate scandal has begun to subpoena witnesses from the office of New Jersey Gov. and self-exonorated bystander Chris "Krispykreme" Christie.   Krispykreme's chief spokesman  Michael Drewniak appeared before the grand jury with his lawyer in tow yesterday, and more are expected to be called in the days and weeks ahead.  What this means is that the legal process has moved from sifting through documents and other evidence to hearing testimony under oath from Christie's staff who should shed more light on the decision to disrupt traffic at the George Washington Bridge / I-95 last year.
