The press gathers at a gate to Ft. Hood last night, awaiting a briefing on yesterday's shooting spree by an Army specialist. The shooting left 4 dead, including the shooter Ivan Lopez, and 16 wounded, including 2 very critically. Lopez was being evaluated for treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder.
In 2009, an Army doctor, Maj. Nidal Hasan, killed 13 at Ft. Hood on a personal "jihad" in retaliation for U.S. involvement in Afghanistan.
