Today would have been cult rocker Link Wray's 85th birthday.  Inventor of rock music's "power chord" (in this reprised song from 1958), Wray influenced performers such as Jimmy Page and Pete Townsend, and was voted the #45 greatest rock guitarist by a Rolling Stones expert panel.  Somewhere, a Hackwhacker has a very scratched 45 r.p.m. of "Rumble," which he will now endeavor to locate!  Have a great weekend.
