Weekend Song

In remembrance of the lives lost on D-Day, in World War II and in all wars, we offer this classic by British singer Vera Lynn (still going strong at 97!), recorded in 1942.  Its nostalgic refrain, "We'll meet again, don't know where, don't know when," was often overly optimistic when applied by sweethearts to those going into battle, and is especially melancholy on this day of remembrance.  Have a sunny weekend.
