Media's Fear Virus Spreads
A segment on The Colbert Report last night dealt with the media's sensational implication that the Ebola virus was about to ravage America. The blaring "ALERTS," the ominous threat music are all too familiar to viewers who just want these "news" organizations to simply give them the facts without the fear, fear!, FEAR and overblown graphics. Here's the great Colbert's take (and extra points for linking vulgarian buffoon Donald "Rump" Trump to "vomit, blood and feces," and for ridiculing loony Dr. Ben "Physician Heal Thyself " Carson for pulling doomsday scenarios from….um….where the sun doesn't shine).
