Most of the familiar voices on the right want President Obama to charge into Iraq and Syria, guns blazing against ISIS/ISIL, before mapping out a strategy -- military and political -- with allies and regional interests. Their approach worked so well for Dumbya, after all.
Obama's meeting today with Turkey's President Erdogan to discuss Turkey's role in shutting off the gateway to Syria for foreign fighters, among other related issues. A coordinated response by NATO to both ISIS/ISIL and Russia's intervention in Ukraine is underway, with a successful NATO meeting concluding today.
