12 Die In Paris Terror Attack (Updated)

Earlier today, the Paris offices of satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo were attacked by two heavily armed gunmen who killed 12 people, including 2 police officers who were stationed near the offices.  The gunmen escaped by car, after stopping to execute a wounded police officer on the sidewalk and shouting that "the Prophet has been avenged."  An intense manhunt is underway for the gunmen and any accomplices.

The weekly is well known for its frequent, biting satire of religion, including Islam, Christianity, and Judiasm.  It was the target of numerous threats over the years, and a firebomb attack in 2011.

UPDATE:  Captured/ killed?
