Krispykreme's Continuing Ethics Problems
Fresh off his creepy adolescent celebration with Dallas Cowpies owner Jerry Jones, New Jersey Gov. Chris "Krispykreme" Christie's campaign committee has received a subpoena from Federal prosecutors related to a slew of cancelled meetings with the Jersey City mayor after he refused to endorse the rotund anger bear for re-election in 2013. The Federal probe signals the expansion of the investigation of Krispykreme's administration beyond the "Bridgegate" scandal of a year ago into his apparent "pay-to-play" approach to state government.
One of the areas that begs for more intensive investigation is Krispykreme's alleged diversion of $25 million in superstorm Sandy funds away from political opponents to use for a self-promoting ad campaign on "tourism." Time to turn up the heat on his Lardship.
