Weekend Music

The Spanish classical guitarist Andres Segovia was born 122 years ago tomorrow.  We're certainly fortunate to have lived in his age and to have the technology to enjoy his genius over and over again. This is one of his more famous transcriptions, "Asturias" by Isaac Albeniz.  Listen and watch and you'll understand why Segovia is considered by many to be the greatest guitarist of all time.
