The Usual Suspects?
Two suspects in last Saturday's assassination of Russian opposition leader Boris Nemtsov have been detained by the Russian security agency. The two men are from the North Caucasus region of Russia.
Observers remain highly skeptical that the investigation, which is being overseen personally by Russian autocrat Vladimir "Vlad the Invader" Putin, will result in the arrest of the actual killers or the people who masterminded the killing which occurred within sight of the Kremlin. Nemtsov was highly critical of Putin's annexation of Crimea and his aggression in Ukraine, as well as Russia's economic system that is being dominated by wealthy oligarchs loyal to Putin.
