The Republican War on Women, Cont'd.

Right-wing Republicans are all for small government, except when it comes to military spending and women's reproductive organs.  The last time we heard a Rethug politician pushing mandatory ultrasounds for pregnant women, it was former Virginia Gov. and convicted felon Bob "Blowdry Bob" McDonnell and his sidekick, former Attorney General Ken "Cooch" Cuccinelli, who learned quickly that women objected to being coerced into getting a mandatory invasive transvaginal probe, especially those about to terminate a pregnancy.  And, of course, that is who the mandatory ultrasounds are meant to intimidate and shame out of getting an abortion.

Proving that, for Rethugs, limited Government ends where a woman's uterus begins, Wisconsin Governor and Koch Industries' Employee of the Year Scott "Koch Head" Walker is boasting about signing a law in 2013 that required mandatory ultrasounds in his state.  Wishing to appeal to the fanatic Bible-bangers who dominate his party's base, Walker thinks we won't see any inconsistency with the small Government philosophy cynically pushed by him.  Forcing women to have an ultrasound when they've decided to terminate their pregnancy isn't, as Koch Head says, "just a cool thing out there," but attempted control over women's reproductive decisions by the state. Limited government, indeed.
