Franklin Graham is very upset with Wells Fargo after they used an LGBT couple in one of their advertisements. So upset, in fact, that he has cited the bank’s promotion of a “godless lifestyle” by pulling all of his money out of the organization and moving it to a more Godly bank: BB&T.
That would be the same BB&T that sponsors the Miami Beach gay pride parade, along with a “Legacy Couples” program, which celebrates LGBT couples that have been together for at least ten years.We know of a stump in the woods that the "Rev." could use to stash his money once he discovers that banks that discriminate against LGBT people, unlike pharisee evangelists, aren't going to be in business very long.
On a less risible note, how about that withered gargoyle and former candidate for the Republican presidential nomination, "Rev." Pat Robertson:
On his 700 Club television show, the right-wing televangelist (and son of a segregationist) was asked why God would allow a helpless infant to die in the hospital.
