Roughly 40 members of the Loyal White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan and their white supremacist supporters demonstrated in support of the Confederate flag of treason today on the South Carolina state capitol grounds in Columbia, SC. They were opposed by a much larger crowd of counter protesters.
The Klan and their supporters waved the flag and chanted "white power" and gave the Nazi salute during the protest (thereby demonstrating that the flag represents Southern "heritage" -- whatever that means -- and not racist hatred, right?)
