Unemployment Rate Drops to 5.1%

The Bureau of Labor Statistics announced that the economy added 173,000 new jobs in August, bringing the unemployment rate down to 5.1%, the lowest since April 2008.  The biggest gains were in health care and social assistance jobs.  At the same time, June and July employment figures were revised upward by 44,000 new jobs over what had previously been reported.

It's all Obama's fault.

Not only can't the republicans get anything done, they can't prevent Obama from having a successful presidency. What good are they?

J.C. -- Good question. Maybe to provide comic entertainment? Or to remind us of how bad things could get with them in complete control?
