Today's Republican Crime Roundup

It's been a perp-tacular day in Republican criminal activity!  Who's the first to frog- march down the aisle?  Why it's Fox "News" contributor Wayne "007" Simmons.  Oh, he's a real piece of work.
A Fox News commentator who has been lying for years about working for the Central Intelligence Agency was arrested on Thursday and is being charged in connection with falsely claiming he worked as an “Outside Paramilitary Special Operations Officer” for the CIA for nearly three decades.
Wayne Simmons, a 62-year-old who lives in Annapolis, Maryland, was arrested by federal authorities following his indictment by a federal grand jury for allegedly committing major fraud, wire fraud, and making false statements to the government.
Someone was lying on Fox "News"!!  Who'da thunk it!? We thought it was their business model.

Who's next?  Why is that ol' high school rasslin' coach and former Republican Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert?  We believe it is:
An attorney for Dennis Hastert told a federal judge Thursday that the former House speaker intends to plead guilty in a federal hush-money case.  [snip]

A plea deal would avert a trial and help keep any potentially embarrassing secrets quiet.
The 73-year-old Illinois Republican is charged with breaking banking laws and lying to the FBI in efforts to pay someone $3.5 million to hide claims of past misconduct.
The Associated Press and other media, citing anonymous sources, have reported the payments were meant to conceal claims of sexual misconduct decades ago.
Ol' Denny's rasslin' with some demons, no doubt.  What a Grand Old Party!
