We note that wingnut Ben "Mental Ben" Carson is trying to get some foreign policy cred by visiting a Syrian refugee camp in Jordan. Will Mental Ben have a change of heart about admitting some to the U.S., after comparing Syrian refugees to "rabid dogs"? Uh, no:
"I did not detect any great desire for them to come to the United States. You've got these refugee camps that aren't completely full. And all you need is the resources to be able to run them. Why do you need to create something else?"This was a lame photo-op for a slipping Mental Ben, showing him with some refugees, patting some kids' heads, smiling that vacant smile of his, and hoping that he can made a swift exit before word gets around in the camps about statements he's made about them.
