Shocking: Trump And Cruz Spout And Ooze Nonsense On Terror Attacks (UPDATED)

As we noted below, the reaction of the leading Republican candidates to the terror attacks in Brussels, Belgium this morning demonstrated, shall we say, a low bar of intelligence, common sense, tolerance and humanity.  Who knew, right?

Said "Tailgunner Ted" Cruz, defender of religious freedom against jackbooted progressives:

We need to empower law enforcement to patrol and secure Muslim neighborhoods before they become radicalized. We need to secure the southern border to prevent terrorist infiltration.  (our emphasis)

Police occupying Muslim American neighborhoods is a surefire way to deter radicalization, "Tailgunner Ted!"

In addition to his knee- jerk close the border! and commence the torturing! remarks noted below, geopolitical mastermind Donald "Rump" Trump apparently thinks Belgium is a city:

Belgium is not the Belgium that you and I knew, Matt [Lauer], from 20 years ago, which was one of the most beautiful cities and one of the safest cities in the world. Belgium is a horror show right now.  (our emphasis)
