Mid-Week Grandfathers Song

Baltimore-based band Future Islands developed a following after appearances on Letterman, and at festivals around the country, including Austin's SXSW, where they were named the Best Up and Coming Band a couple of years ago. Their lead singer, Samuel T. Herring has a unique, r & b style baritone voice, which often punctuates his songs in a staccato way.  Here's their studio version of "A Song For Our Grandfathers" that they released last year from their most recent album, "Singles."
