Let The Games Begin

In their last gasp, the #NeverTrump delegates to the Rethuglican convention sh*tstorm tried to force a roll-call vote on the rules that would have unbound delegates on the first ballot, as we noted earlier today. They shouted "roll call vote" at the podium, which was manned by Trumpists, for a vote and when they lost, some, including the delegations from Colorado and Iowa, walked out. Delegates from New Hampshire, Virginia and Utah were similarly displeased, with Virginia delegate and transvaginal probe enthusiast Ken "Cooch" Cuccinelli throwing his delegate credential on the floor in disgust. The only regret is that this white riot didn't play out in prime time.

Perhaps the signature moment of the day's "festivities" happened before the start, when Stephen Colbert got up on stage in his Caesar Flickerman outfit from "The Hunger Games" and mocked Trumpence before being led off stage:
