There's a terrific, must read profile of neo- fascist and raging narcissist Donald "Rump" Trump by David Smith of The Guardian. For anyone at this point who thinks that Rump possesses an "inner life" different from his vile public persona, this profile will put an end to that notion. It's a look at the pathologies on display in his formative years, on through his adult life and business dealings, with his soulless narcissism manifested in every calculation.
Smith takes a passage from an upcoming book, "Trump & Me," by Mark Singer to make a crucial point about this loathsome man who is going to be the Republican nominee for President:
Singer’s profile determined that Trump does not have an interior life. He “had aspired to and achieved the ultimate luxury”, it concluded, “an existence unmolested by the rumbling of a soul”. (our emphasis)Simply speaking, there isn't a decent bone in this man's body. Reading the entire piece is highly recommended, but you might have to shower afterwards.
