Ailes And His Private Smear Team
Now that Fux "News" CEO and large bag of excrement Roger "Jabba the Nut" Ailes has been kicked out of that operation as a result of numerous credible sexual harassment claims over the years, people are discovering some interesting ways the right-wing media potentate spent his company's money -- and not just for settling sexual harassment claims against Jabba. It's being reported by New York Magazine that Jabba had a "black room" operation that used operatives and private detectives to dig up dirt on his critics paid for out of a budget that he had exclusive control over (five of the "consultants" hired by Jabba have since been fired by Fux). Some of the activities conducted by Jabba's personal Gestapo were following journalists that had written critical articles, and putting out false and defamatory information about "enemies" using shell websites.
There's no telling what else will be discovered about Jabba's "black room" operations, but the fact that he would be using his company's resources for private, paranoid vendettas against others smacks of the tactics of his first political hero: Richard M. Nixon.
