Clinton Gets Big Repub Endorsement(s)

Silicon Valley CEO Meg Whitman, the Republican candidate for Governor of California in 2010 and a close friend of Willard "Mittens" Romney, has endorsed Hillary Clinton in an interview with the New York Times. Calling neo-fascist narcissist Donald "Rump" Trump a "dishonest demagogue" and a danger to democracy, Whitman elaborated in a posting on her Facebook page,
"To vote Republican out of party loyalty alone would be to endorse a candidacy that I believe has exploited anger, grievance, xenophobia and racial division. Donald Trump’s demagoguery has undermined the fabric of our national character....Trump's unsteady hand would endanger our prosperity and national security. His authoritarian character could threaten much more."
Whitman, the CEO of Hewlett Packard, is a very major player in Silicon Valley and in Republican business circles, and her endorsement of Clinton might give cover to other dissatisfied Repubs to support Clinton openly. Whitman's distaste for Rump is so great that she also pledged to personally contribute in the mid-six figures to Clinton's campaign, and to raise money and campaign for her.

BONUS:  This follows the decision by Maria Comella, a longtime top aide to Gov. Chris "Would You Like Fries With That Shake, Mr. Trump?" Christie to vote for Clinton.  Also, the first -- but possibly not the last -- Republican congressman, the retiring Rep. Richard Hanna (R-NY) announced his decision to vote for Clinton.
