Most of us have memories of that day, September 11, 2001, fifteen long -- but in some ways short -- years ago. Most of us have thoughts about what happened on that day, how it affected us, how others were affected, how the world changed and maybe a little more innocence lost. At the Twin Towers, at Shanksville, at The Pentagon.
May those that were lost rest in peace, and may their families always find comfort in the love and support of those around them near and far.
Sandy Dahl, whose husband Jason was piloting Flight 93, sums up what we believe is the most important lesson to be learned from that awful day:
"If we learn nothing else from this tragedy, we learn that life is short and there is no time for hate."It's a lesson we all need to learn, and re- learn every day.
