House Speaker Paul "Lyin'" Ryan told his House Republican caucus this morning that he will no longer "defend" his party's neo-fascist sociopath and groper Donald "Rump" Trump, nor appear with him on the campaign trail. However, he stopped short of withdrawing his endorsement of Rump, apparently hoping not to enrage Rump's angry supporters in his own district.
Lyin' said his focus in the time remaining before the election will be to preserve the Rethug's majority in the House, something Rump has made more tenuous in the past week in the wake of the lewd tape of him boasting about groping women. One has to ask, why, after 16 months of Rump's multiple smears / slanders / shaming of minorities, women and the disabled, has it taken Lyin' until now to step away (but not withdraw his endorsement) from Rump?
