Mid-Week Bach Concerto Song

Concert pianist Cornelia Herrmann, born in Saltzburg, Austria of German and Japanese parents, is an extremely gifted artist, garnering awards and accolades worldwide. When she was 18, she became the youngest winner of the International J.S. Bach Competition in Leipzig, Germany, and followed that with a special award at the 1999 International Mozart Competition. Home from their tours of Vienna, Prague and other parts of old Europe, our friends P.E.C. and John recommended Ms. Herrmann's work to us, having met her and being a good friend of her godparent. It's been well worth sampling her fluid artistry on many classic piano compositions. Here's but one example, a virtuoso live performance at Hitomi Hall in Tokyo of Bach's Italian Concerto, movement 3 (presto). Enjoy some musical genius.
