Seth Meyers' Post Election Thoughts

If you haven't seen it, check out Seth Meyers' humorous / emotional / sobering thoughts on the election. He'll be watching demagogue Donald "Rump" Trump for the next four years, and holding him to account, even if our broken political media won't.



He's right to note some bright spots: the election of war hero Sen.-elect Tammy Duckworth to the Senate from Illinois, and Somalia-born Congresswoman-elect Ilhan Omar to the House of Representatives from Minnesota. There were other firsts, too: the first Indian-American woman elected to the Senate, Sen.-elect Kamala Harris (D-CA), and the first Latina elected to the Senate, Sen.-elect Catherine Cortez-Masto (D-NV).
