The FBI's Trumpists

The increasing number of partisan leaks and innuendo emanating from the New York office of the FBI (i.e., Trumpland) targeting Secretary Clinton and the fluffed up e-mail nothingburger have the Justice Department's public integrity prosecutors and rogue FBI agents in New York at odds. When these agents pressed the Justice Department's public integrity unit to probe the Clinton Foundation earlier this year, the DOJ refused, infuriating the partisan agents in the New York office. The New York FBI office has long been Rethuglican-friendly, going back at least to the days that slimy demagogue Rudy "Noun Verb 9-11" Giuliani was a Federal prosecutor there and worked closely with them and their then-chief, Clinton-hater James Kallstrom, who's also had a major ratf*cking role in the attacks on Clinton coming out of the FBI's New York office.

Now, Rudy 9-11 is right in the middle of what appears to be a coordinated effort by the shampaign of neo-fascist demagogue Donald "Rump" Trump to use Federal law enforcement resources to influence the Presidential election. In an appearance on "Fux and Friends" today, the despicable former mayor of New York City admitted that the Rump shampaign had advance warning of the letter that FBI Director James Comey sent a week ago to Congress regarding additional e-mails that set of the current flap. Rump surrogate Rudy 9-11 even hinted a couple of days before the letter was released that "we got a couple surprises left."  We wonder what Rump has promised this petty demagogue in return for his "service."

Now that the horse is out of the barn, the only course left is for the Justice Department to clamp down on the FBI and to investigate the sources of the leaks as a violation of the Hatch Act. There's probably not much we can do about Rudy 9-11, except to ensure that his candidate is soundly defeated and that Rudy 9-11 returns to the obscurity he richly deserves.
