Here's the unclassified version (pdf) of the report released yesterday by the U.S. intelligence community on Russian efforts to influence the election in favor of neo- fascist Putin poodle Donald "Rump" Trump.
The most often quoted summation of the findings:
"We assess Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered an influence campaign in 2016 aimed at the US presidential election. Russia’s goals were to undermine public faith in the US democratic process, denigrate Secretary Clinton, and harm her electability and potential presidency. We further assess Putin and the Russian Government developed a clear preference for President-elect Trump. We have high confidence in these judgments."Now that we have a glimmer of what the Russians did from their side and why, we await further information on what Rump and his minions did to collaborate with a hostile foreign power. Let's also never forget the role the useful idiots in the "mainstream media" played in un-skeptically spreading the Russo- Republican manure far and wide.
