Trump Lies About Mocking Disabled Reporter

Neo-fascist demagogue Donald "Rump" Trump attacked Meryl Streep for her remarks (see post below) at last night's Golden Globe awards, where she recalled his televised mocking of a disabled reporter from the New York Times. Apparently this pathological liar, who will assume the Presidency just days from now, is unaware of the newfangled technology of videotape, and lied about the incident in an interview with the New York Times:
"I was never mocking anyone,” Mr. Trump said. “I was calling into question a reporter who had gotten nervous because he had changed his story,” arguing that the reporter had been trying to back away from an article he wrote in September 2001 about the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and elsewhere that month.

People keep saying I intended to mock the reporter’s disability, as if Meryl Streep and others could read my mind, and I did no such thing,” (emphasis added)
Of course, he did more than intend to mock, he did mock him, by flailing his arms around in a derisive imitation of the reporter's chronic disability (arthrogryposis). Exhibit A:

So do you believe him, or your lying eyes and ears?

BONUS:  Raw Story has collected some Twitter reactions to the pathological liar's claims of innocence.

  2. Part of Streep's remarks were addressed to the media, challenging them to stand up for the truth. We have little faith that they'll actually do that, as their bottom line takes priority. Thanks, One Fly.

  3. The ONLY thing to prevent this HUGE POS from lying is sew his lips together & handcuff his hands behind his back so he can't tweet!!

  4. He'd probably develop a eye-blinking code for his cultists. Lying is like oxygen to Rump, Feline Mama. He can't survive without it.
