Mid-Week I Am Song

Washington, D.C. native Kayla Waters is getting a lot of attention after the release of her debut album "Apogee."  The daughter of jazz saxophonist Kim Waters, Kayla began playing the piano at age 6, and hasn't stopped since. In addition to performing and accompanying such artists as Stevie Wonder and Gladys Knight, she's Music Director of the Howard University Early Learning Program. Her single off the album, "I Am," which we feature today, has been on the charts for all of four weeks and is already rising through the jazz singles top 10.  Enjoy.

Excellent, Dudes! Sounds like the perfect song to accompany a spring ride in a convertible. I'm just sayin'. P.E.C.

Absolutely, P.E.C.! It's a smooth, melodic, carefree song. And we have the unseasonably mild weather here to take that ride! We're happy that you liked the song.
