Mid-Week Ran Song

Baltimore-based band Future Islands was featured here last June, after a couple of years of increasing recognition and concert appearances. Singer Samuel Herring's rich, bluesy voice is the band's most distinctive quality, along with its songs with ethereal melodies underlined by a keyboard and synthesizer, and deep bass guitar. Here's their newest single "Ran" (released two weeks ago) from their new album, "The Far Field."
