Military Raids And Alternative Facts

Last month's ill-fated attack in Yemen on a suspected al Qaeda base resulted in the death of a Navy SEAL and numerous civilian casualties. In the aftermath of the operation, military sources said that incompetent buffoon Donald "Rump" Trump had approved the raid over dinner without enough preparation.

Yesterday, Senate Armed Services Committee Chairman Sen. John McCain noted that the raid had cost the Navy SEAL's life, along with three wounded, a $75 million Osprey helicopter and other losses, saying "I don't believe you can call it a success." Rump was quick to shift from his personal Twitter war on Nordstrom's to attacking McCain's comments this morning, saying he's "been losing so long he doesn't know how to win anymore" and that McCain's comments "embolden the enemy." Rump earlier bragged that the raid was an example of the U.S. "winning." Rump's spokes-muppet, little Sean "Spicy" Spicer took up the gauntlet for his boss and "demanded" an apology from McCain and other critics of the raid for supposedly dishonoring the memory of the fallen SEAL. That salvo didn't go over well with the prickly and proud McCain.

In 2015, Rump infamously disparaged McCain's Vietnam war record as a captured Navy pilot who spent years in a North Vietnamese prison, and who was repeatedly tortured. Rump, who once said that avoiding sexually transmitted diseases in the 1960s and 1970s was his "personal Vietnam," avoided the draft with five deferments.  Our political disagreements with McCain aside, the "fascist, loofa-faced sh*tgibbon" isn't worthy to wash McCain's socks.

BONUS:  Former British Conservative MP Louise Mensch had some choice words for Rump on MSNBC:
“American hero John McCain versus American zero Donald Trump,” Mensch said. “Bone-spur Bob, draft-dodger, the guy with the ouchie foot dares to tell Sen. McCain, war hero, that he shouldn’t be commenting on military missions.”
Blimey.
