Trump and Paula White |
"Prosperity gospel" minister and sociopath Donald "Rump" Trump's "spiritual advisor" Paula White is being accused by a former employee of taking money and jewelry from the collection plates of her former ministry "Without Walls." Through her lawyers, White denies the allegations that she took the items from her parishioners to support a lavish lifestyle, and no charges have been filed. She led a prayer at Rump's inauguration and recently appeared in the Rose Garden with the grifter-in-chief at a National Prayer Day event.
So-called prosperity gospel ministers preach that wealth and prosperity are signs of God's approval of them, and that positive attitudes and donations to the church will increase their prosperity. The doctrine is widely criticized by numerous Christian denominations as promoting materialism, greed and idolatry of wealth.
