The Senate won't be voting on the Republican TrumpCare "22 million lose health care so we can give tax cuts to the rich" bill this week after all. The vote is being postponed until after the July 4 recess due to resistance from within the Republican caucus, some of whom have been hearing from us*, others from their plutocrat backers who want the bill to be more "mean." All 52 Republican Senators are at the White (Supremacist) House this afternoon to get a pep talk/ arm twisting from clueless dimbulb Donald "Rump" Trump, with special attention being paid to weasel caucus members (who should keep in mind what Sen. Lindsey "Huckleberry" Graham noted yesterday, "[I]f you count on the President to have your back, you need to watch it.").
That gives us about 10 days to continue to put the pressure on the weasel caucus, something the TrumpCare tool kit can help you do.
*UPDATE: The calls/ messages seem to be piling up. Keep going!
Republican senators’ offices say they’re getting a flood of calls from voters worried about the GOP Obamacare repeal bill, potentially further complicating Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s attempt to muscle the legislation through this week.(Photo: Rump surrounded by weasel caucus members Sens. Dean Heller (NV), Susan Collins (ME) and Lisa Murkowski (AK) at this afternoon's "pep talk.")
