"No Desire And No Capacity To Lead The World"

Australian Broadcasting Company political editor Chris Uhlmann has a clear- eyed assessment of our national embarrassment, Donald "Rump" Trump, at the recently concluded G20 summit. He nails how much of the world views Rump -- and us (h/t Red Painter, Crooks & Liars):

Watching this (and we hope many do), American journalists and pundits should be ashamed of their timidity and their continuing efforts to "normalize" the dangerously deranged Rump. In addition, Rump's admiration for and obsequiousness toward Vladimir Putin has ominous undertones, which most Western leaders and the majority of Americans have come to recognize.

We'll have more to say about this later.
