Obstruction Calling
When the news broke that the FBI had obtained a FISA warrant to tap the phone of former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort's phone before and after the election, it occurred to most people that we could very well have sociopath and Putin puppet Donald "Rump" Trump captured in phone conversations planning a coverup, or promising a pardon -- i.e., obstruction of justice and criminal conspiracy.
Rump is known to stay in touch with former advisors and aides. For example, disgraced, corrupt former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn got a call from Rump urging him to stay strong (likely among other directions) after he was fired in February. When Flynn's surreptitious phone calls to Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak in December 2016 were revealed earlier this year, it was unclear whether the information was obtained through a FISA warrant, routine FBI phone intercepts conducted on Russian diplomatic officials, or some other means. We hope that Special Counsel Robert Mueller has recordings of incriminating conversations that Manafort and Flynn had with Rump on the Russia scandal that would demonstrate obstruction and collusion.
