Putin's Puppet Defends Him (UPDATED)

Putin puppet and narcissistic sociopath Donald "Rump" Trump may never be brought up on charges of treason, but it's not for lack of trying. In an interview aboard Air Force One, Rump again and repeatedly defended Putin's transparent lie that Russia didn't meddle in the 2016 elections, a lie that America's 17 intelligence agencies unanimously dispute. Here are key parts of the exchange in which he was asked about Putin's denials:
"Reporter: Do you believe him?

Trump: "Well, look, I can't stand there and argue with him, I would rather have him get out of Syria, I would rather get to work with him on the Ukraine rather than arguing about whether or not... that whole thing was set up by the Democrats.... Every time [Putin] sees me he says I didn't do that and I really believe that when he tells me that, he means it. But he says I didn't do that. I think he is very insulted by it, which is not a good thing for our country....But this is really an artificial barrier that's put in front of us for solving problems with Russia. He says that very strongly, he really seems to be insulted by it and he says he didn't do it. He is very, very strong in the fact that he didn't do it. You have President Putin very strongly, vehemently says he has nothing to do with that."
(emphasis added)
Continually siding with the lies of a hostile foreign power over the proof provided by our intelligence services is the surest sign that Russia has something significant on Rump, and that Rump is determined to keep it hidden. There's also the disturbing, repeated use of the word "strong" when Rump refers to the autocratic Putin, indicating that he sees himself as subordinate to the "alpha" male whom he desperately wants to please.

The only conclusion that can be drawn is that he will do what Putin wants, to the extent that Congress, the Courts and the people allow him to do. We won't be complicit in his treasonous behavior.

UPDATERump also had this to say when challenged about the entire U.S. Intelligence Community coming to the opposite conclusion:
"I mean, give me a break, they are political hacks," Trump said. "So you look at it, I mean, you have Brennan, you have Clapper and you have Comey. Comey is proven now to be a liar and he is proven now to be a leaker. So you look at that and you have President Putin very strongly, vehemently says he had nothing to do with them."
Wow.
