The latest White (Supremacist) House dust up is surrounding neo-fascist bigot Donald "Rump" Trump and his chief-of-staff and chief enabler Gen. (ret.) John Kelly. Yesterday, Kelly told the Congressional Hispanic Caucus that Rump's views on the border wall nonsense had "evolved" and that his statements during the campaign hadn't been "fully informed" (i.e. they were insipid). Having promised his bigoted, mouthbreathing cult that he would build a wall and Mexico would pay for it, Rump lashed back on Twitter this morning at Kelly's characterization, saying in part:
"The Wall is the Wall, it has never changed or evolved from the first day I conceived of it....The Wall will be paid for, directly or indirectly, or through longer term reimbursement, by Mexico..."We certainly don't care if Rump takes his chief-of-staff to the woodshed and administers a public thrashing, which he deserves (for unrelated reasons). However, all of this confusion is taking place in the context of a barely alive bipartisan deal on DACA, which Rump last week promised to sign before his chief-of-staff and racist liars Sens. Tom Cotton and David Perdue, along with Rump cultist Stephen Miller, got to him first and scuttled it in an outpouring of racist, shithole invective. A government shutdown over Rump's ignorance, incompetence and bigotry is now the price the public may be paying if a budget bill with a final deal on DACA (and the Children's Health Insurance Program) isn't made by midnight on Friday.
