Sunday Reflection

"Let us all hope that the dark clouds of racial prejudice will soon pass away and the deep fog of misunderstanding will be lifted from our fear drenched communities, and in some not too distant tomorrow the radiant stars of love and brotherhood will shine over our great nation with all their scintillating beauty." -- Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr., concluding his "Letter from a Birmingham Jail," April 16, 1963.  That "not too distant tomorrow" seems no closer today.

Dr. King would have been 88 years old tomorrow.

Quite a YUGE difference from what S******E in Chief vomits. NO?? Dr. King could surely make magnificent speeches. Actually, he just lets out what is in his heart. Refer to sentence one again.

F.M. - The whole "Letter from a Birmingham Jail" is a stunning exposition by King that the Very Stable Genius would have trouble in getting past the first paragraph, especially since his name isn't mentioned! We've fallen a long way in half a century.
