Wingnut Aborted After 8 Months

Anti-choice wingnut Teresa Manning was neo-fascist racist Donald "Rump" Trump's pick to head up the Federal Government's Title X family planning program, which she has since last May. Title X provides family planning resources for poor families and families lacking insurance. She had previously worked for far-right groups like National Right To Life and the Family Research Council, both rabidly anti-choice and reactionary organizations with regard to women's reproductive and economic rights. She's questioned the efficacy of birth control and has opposed the "morning after" pill, among other contraception products.

Politico is confirming that Manning abruptly resigned yesterday, and was escorted from the building where she worked. The Department of Health and Human Services issued a bland "thank you for your service" statement, and Manning offered no public comment about her sudden departure. We smell the scent of a little faux pas on the part of Manning, so stay tuned.
