Speaker Ryan, on the FBI raising "grave concerns" over the Nunes memo, defends the memo: "What this memo is: is Congress doing its job .... It's our job to conduct" oversight. "This does affect our civil liberties."— Manu Raju (@mkraju) February 1, 2018
Then this from a former FBI counterintelligence agent:
For those who think releasing the memo has no danger, here is the part of the fbi statement to focus on: “we have grave concerns.” Here is the definition of Top Secret: “info whose unauthorized disclosure could result in exceptionally grave danger to the nation.”— Naveed Jamali (@NaveedAJamali) February 1, 2018
Spineless Sneaker of the House and Rep. Devin "Sherlock" Nunes' co-conspirator Paul "Lyin'" Ryan won't acknowledge that the FBI's term of art when using "grave concerns" tracks directly to the definition of Top Secret information that, if disclosed without authorization, would result in "grave danger" to the U.S. These Trumpists are not only putting their party and personal power above country, they've willing to expose the country to grave danger as a result. Treasonous much?
I remember having this terrible feeling when Valerie Plame was outed. What about our operatives across the world? People who have given up just about everything to protect us under the scariest, most horrific circumstances.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen such a bunch of Russian stooges before, but Traitor Rump's administration takes the fucking cake.
Diva - You're right, peoples' lives are at stake, not only our operatives, but foreign nationals who have sided with us. We imagine they're thinking "this wasn't worth it." That's what makes this situation so despicable. The Traitor-in-Chief is just protecting his ass, not thinking about the wreckage.
