As right-wing Israeli Prime Minister Bibi "Bomb Bomb" Netanyahu gets ready to meet with neo-fascist con man Donald "Rump" Trump today at the White (Supremacist) House, Haaretz is reporting that a third Netanyahu confidant has turned state's evidence in the cases of bribery and obstruction of justice against him. Nir Hefetz, Netanyahu's former chief spokesman, joins the Prime Minister's former chief of staff and former communications minister in agreeing with Israeli police to give testimony in those cases. The cases involve Netanyahu giving financial breaks to Israel's largest telecom conglomerate in exchange for positive news coverage (fake news!), and receiving expensive gifts from Israeli businessmen.
With Rump's own family and inner circle the subject of increased allegations of corruption and pay-to-play schemes, Bomb Bomb will have a sympathetic ear during his visit. Netanyahu and his right-wing Likud Party have implicitly supported Rethuglican candidates for President going back to Dumbya's time. It's no coincidence that Israel's ambassador to the U.S. is a former Rethuglican operative Ron Dermer, who was instrumental in trying to sabotage the Iran nuclear deal in the U.S. Congress, working with Senate Rethuglicans.
