This should go down well among the blue collar
President Xi of China, and I, are working together to give massive Chinese phone company, ZTE, a way to get back into business, fast. Too many jobs in China lost. Commerce Department has been instructed to get it done!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) May 13, 2018
"Too many jobs in China lost." Yes, that's a winning theme for the 2018 mid-term elections. Please, pleeeease go with it!
It's worth noting that ZTE was banned from acquiring U.S.-made telecommunications technology just a month ago for violating terms of sanctions imposed for shipping telecommunications equipment to Iran and North Korea. Here's Rump's Commerce Secretary then:
“Instead of reprimanding ZTE staff and senior management, ZTE rewarded them,” Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross said in the statement. “This egregious behavior cannot be ignored.”But ignore it they will. Rump is doing another flip flop (see tariffs, TPP, etc.) perhaps because Chinese President Xi may have said something flattering about him. Or, perhaps they threatened to cause problems for Rump's many branded scams in China. Or maybe it's just a history of good old fashioned bribery. Whatever the reason, if Dems don't include that tweet in an ad or three, THEY should be out of a job.
The American people all need a Trump Decoder Ring. We need something that spells out his mixed messages, flip-flops, and tweets in real language of his clear intent. He's an oily worm who slips in and out of everything he says. We deserve to know, because it's our country and he's ruining it.
ReplyDeletedonnah -- Assume that he's lying all of the time, and that he'll say one thing one day, and lie about it the next (e.g., the lies about whether he paid Stormy Daniels, etc.). His narcissistic and unstable personality leads him to blast Kim Jong Un in one breath and praise him in the next.
ReplyDeleteSo now we know: China is paying Trump $500 million to set up an amusement park there, with a golf course, naturally.
