The cult of sociopath and brazen liar Donald "Rump" Trump has remained loyal throughout his multiple scandals and degradations of our foundational institutions. Consider that the lie about Mexico paying for the border wall, the dismantling of health care for the middle and working class, the tax giveaway to the wealthy and corporations, the tariff war that will hurt his base directly, and so much more haven't made a dent in his rabid base of support. We have no illusions about the majority of them breaking away: they're too far gone in an alternate, Fox and hate radio-fueled reality that they bitterly defend. But over time, perhaps a few will realize who's the axe.
