I have friends in Edmonton and BC. They were astonished when Trump became president, but they were not concerned other than thinking amusedly that their neighbors to the South were slightly crazy.

Now it's all changed. My friends are actually worried for us and about those who continue to support him. They are sick to see what has happened under Trump's “leadership” and they're insulted and upset. Who can blame them?

Several of our friends have jokingly and also seriously suggested that they'll find us a place to live up there. While tempted, we still have our family to consider and also our connections to business and friends. Plus someone has to be here to register voters so we can get these bastards out of office. Leaving isn't an option; fighting is.

donnah - we've faced the same from friends in Canada. We need to take this country back and show the world the even though Rump is the worst we can do, we can do so,so much better.
