White (Supremacist) House spokesliar Sarah "Hucksterbee" Sanders was miffed at the folks at The Red Hen in Lexington, VA for not serving her on Friday because they have standards on truth, decency, and cruelty, which Sanders does not. Here are some reactions from our Twitter friends:
What if Trump administration goons were served in restaurants but the entire kitchen staff came out, lined up against a back wall watching them and conspiratorially whispered amongst themselves as the customer takes their first bite? A civil compromise, I think.— Schooley (@Rschooley) June 24, 2018
The President of the United States is threatening to do away with the rule of law. His press secretary didn't get served at a Red Hen. One of these things matters and the other doesn't.— Ben Rhodes (@brhodes) June 24, 2018
The Red Hen should have just taken Sarah Sanders' order, then spent an hour saying, "We'll get back to you on that."— James Poniewozik (@poniewozik) June 23, 2018
Sarah Sanders to Jim Acosta, 6/14/18: "I know it's hard for you to understand even short sentences, I guess."— Tim O'Brien (@TimOBrien) June 23, 2018
Sanders to Hallie Jackson, 1/11/18: “I think that the premise of your question is completely ridiculous and shows the lack of knowledge that you have on this process” https://t.co/Gq4dAcJzoi
And the former Director, Office of Government Ethics points out a problem for Sanders:
Sanders used her official govt account to condemn a private business for personal reasons. Seeks to coerce business by using her office to get public to pressure it. Violates endorsements ban too, which has an obvious corollary for discouraging patronage. Misuse reg covers both.— Walter Shaub (@waltshaub) June 23, 2018
