Dennis Malloy and Judi Franco |
New Jersey's Attorney General Gurbir Grewal, who is an American-born Sikh, was mocked by two right-wing shock jocks on NJ 101.5 FM, who continuously referred to Grewal as "turban man" on their Wednesday afternoon show. Dennis Malloy and Judi Franco have been suspended by the station pending "an investigation." At one point during the segment, Malloy said, "Listen, if that offends you, then don’t wear the turban, man, and I’ll remember your name.”
Attorney General Grewal was restrained and classy in his response to these two hopeless morons, tweeting:
.@nj1015: My name, for the record, is Gurbir Grewal. I’m the 61st Attorney General of NJ. I’m a Sikh American. I have 3 daughters. And yesterday, I told them to turn off the radio.— Gurbir S. Grewal (@GurbirGrewalNJ) July 26, 2018
If you want to let NJ 105.1 know what you think about this bigoted duo's hate speech, you can register your views on their Facebook page, or avail yourselves of their contact list here.
These two clowns need to find other employment as far away from a radio mic as possible. Let's help them with that career move.
