A new NBC News/ Marist poll in three pivotal midwestern states shows that compromised demagogue Donald "Rump" Trump's approval ratings have slipped below 40%, and only about 3-in-10 voters in these states say Rump deserves to be re-elected (28% in Michigan, 30% in Minnesota, and 31% in Wisconsin).
Moreover, Rump's job approval ratings are 36% (Michigan), 38% (Minnesota) and 36% (Wisconsin). Demonstrating the drag that Rump has on Congressional races in those states, voters have a preference for Democrats over Rethugs in House, Senate, and Governor's races: 45% (Michigan, +9), 48% (Minnesota, +12), and 47% (Wisconsin, +8). If Rethugs were counting on the economy to sway voters, only 40% give some credit to Rump, while a third say Rump doesn't get credit, and a quarter say that the economy hasn't improved for them.
Voters in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan were polled from July 15 to July 19, just before and right after Rump's obsequious, treasonous performance in Helsinki with his handler Russian thug and kleptocrat Vladimir Putin.
